ECM is located in the Steelpoort valley (approximately 350km from Johannesburg) along a 100-kilometre stretch of the eastern rim of the Bushveld Igneous Complex, and comprises of three underground mines, two opencast mines, four surface beneficiation plants and four tailings re-treatment plants.
